Morgan was a featured actress on the AIDS prevention and education videos. Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds from the film was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has spearheaded numerous other fundraising initiatives for the cause and also appeared before a special Congressional committee on AIDS education. Morgan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar and on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her occasionally to sub for him during AIDS awareness programs. She also was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special presented by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline on AIDS. Morgan has been nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. In her next role, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" that was exclusively produced for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ever ratings for the channel.
