Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae Singers. He was in Shottas the cult movie opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. Like Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap is (remix) as well as Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the newest generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to cover Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song became a massive hit in 1997. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class festival of music which was held in Miami. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bidding war.
